Weekly Events at St. Thomas

Hello Everyone,

Here’s your weekly reminder of all the programs, services and events at St. Thomas during the next several days.  Please take particular notice of all events in colored print.

 

PECANS

We have two boxes of Butter Roasted pecans.  If you wish to split a box with a friend or family member, we can make that happen. 

 

THANK YOU TO ALL ANGELS

MANY, MANY THANKS to all 74 of you who took cards off the Resurrection House  Angel Tree this year!  Sunday is the deadline for bringing the gifts here to the Founders' Room.   Ted and Vicky will be working Sunday afternoon from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. in the Founders' Room and will deliver all the gifts to Resurreciton House at 10 a.m. Monday, December 17th. 

You are indeed Angels!!

 Tuesday, December 11th

Centering Prayer meets tonight at 6—6:45 p.m.  Come to the Sanctuary at 6 p.m. to experience the “peace that surpasses all understanding” through the silence of Centering Prayer.

Wednesday, December 12th

Men’s Bible Study is at 7 a.m. in the Guild Room.

The Holy Eucharist is at 12 noon in the Chapel.

Supper, Song & Prayer is in the Parish Hall beginning at 6 p.m.  Janice and Jim Larson will be our speakers.  Please support Janice and Jim Larson with your prayers and presence.   Everyone is welcome!

Godly Play is at 6:30 p.m. in the Library.  Godly Play is for Pre-K thru 5^th grade children. We will explore “Advent II and III, Holy Family and The Sheperds.”
Youth Group meets at 6:30 p.m. in the Youth Room.

Thursday, December 13th

Women of the Word is at 9 a.m. in the Library.

Finance Meeting is at 7 p.m. in the Founders’ Room.

Friday, December 14thl

Holy Folders are at 10 a.m. in the Founders’ Room.

AA Meeting is at 10 a.m. in the Guild Room.

 Saturday, December 15th

Silent Saturdays is at 7 a.m. in the Sanctuary.

Memorial service for Judy Goodwin is at 1 p.m. in the Sanctuary.

A reception follows immediately after the service in the Parish Hall.

Harmony Rehearsal is at 3 p.m. in the Choir Room.

 The Third Sunday of Advent,  December 16th

Sunday Services are at 8 a.m. Traditional in the Sanctuary, 10 a.m. Harmony in the Parish Hall, 10 a.m. Traditional in the Sanctuary and 6 p.m. in the Chapel.

Youth Group will meet at  9—9:50 a.m.  in the Youth Room.  Come and be a part of this great group!
Nursery available from 9:45 a.m. in the Nursery.
Children’s Chapel begins at 9:45 a.m. in the Nursery coordinating with each service.  Children will return to the service at the Offertory time.
Sunday School is at 9:50 a.m. in the Guild Room.
Cookies & Caroling departs at 10 a.m., meet in the Parish Hall at 9:45 a.m.
Youth Band Rehearsal is at 12 Noon in the Parish Hall.

 Monday, December 17th

AA is at 12 noon in the Guild Room.

Yoga is at 6:30 p.m. in the Parish Hall.
