Morning all Hope you are safe Please DO NOT try to come this way! Snell Isle not passable. Water is higher then last night and we haven't hit high tide yet. Good nights sleep, I'm ready to go. Oh wait I have the day off! Rest, share time, laugh alot! God apparently thinks we're working too hard. Stay tuned for tomorrow.

Making history= VBS cancelled for Monday

Well this is a first, the weather has gotten the best of us .....for now.  Wind and storm surge will increase high tide tomorrow morning by 2 to 3ft.  It is likely that Snell Isle will still not be passable. There is currently still  no power at the church. Please stay home, stay dry and safe. We'll watch the storm for Tuesday and continue to post here and on Facebook.

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL (VBS)

June  25—29^th

We especially need volunteers to help clean-up,

Friday, June 29^th at 1 p.m.

Meet in the Parish Hall.

WAYS TO SPONSOR VBS

There is still an opportunity to sponsor a child for VBS.  We will have up to 15 children from Happy Workers Child Care Center visiting for the week.

The cost is $35.00 per child. 

Here’s what’s new this year:

• We are also looking for a sponsor for the purchase of the VBS T-Shirts.
• Sponsor volunteer breakfast for a day
• Sponsor pizza party

TWO MISSIONS TRIPS TO HAITI

St. Thomas will be sponsoring two mission trips to Haiti in 2013.  You must be an adult to participate.  We will have a service project trip March 16—23 and a medical mission trip April 13—20.   If you are interested in participating please place your name on the sign up sheets this Sunday or call the church office and sign-up.

VBS Decorating is at 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. in the Parish Hall.

VBS Training is at 6 p.m. in the Founders’ Room.

Vestry Meeting is at 7 p.m. in the Founders’ Room.

Wednesday, June 20th

Men’s Bible Study is at 7 a.m. in the Library.

VBS Decorating is at 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. in the Parish Hall.

The Holy Eucharist is at 12 noon in the Chapel.

VBS Training for the youth is at 2 p.m. in the Parish Hall.

VBS Committee Meeting is at 5 p.m. in the Founders’ Room.

Supper, Song & Prayer is in the Parish Hall beginning at 6 p.m.  Everyone is welcome!

Godly Play is at 6:30 p.m. in the Library.  Godly Play is for Pre-K thru 5^th grade children. We will  explore “The Circle of the Church Year.”

Youth Group meets at 6:30 p.m. in the Youth Room.

Thursday, June 21st

Women of the Word is at 9 a.m. in the Library.

VBS Decorating is at 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. in the Parish Hall.

Friday, June 22nd

VBS Decorating is at 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. in the Parish Hall.

Holy Folders meet at 10 a.m. in the Founders’ Room.

AA Meeting is at 10 a.m. in the Chapel.

Saturday, June 23rd

VBS Decorating is at 9 a.m. in the Parish Hall.

Harmony Rehearsal is at 3 p.m. in the Choir Room.

 The Fourth Sunday after Pentecost,  June 24th

Sunday Services are at 8 a.m. Traditional in the Sanctuary, 10 a.m. Harmony in the Parish Hall, 10 a.m. Traditional in the Sanctuary and 6 p.m. in the Chapel.

 Youth Group will meet at  9—9:50 a.m.  in the Youth Room.  Come and be a part of this great group!

Nursery available from 9:45 a.m. in the Nursery.

Children’s Chapel begins at 9:45 a.m. in the Nursery coordinating with each service.  Children will return to the service a the Offertory time.

VBS Decorating is at 11:15 a.m. in the Parish Hall.

Youth Band is at 12 noon in the Parish Hall.

Monday,  June 25th

VBS is at 9 a.m. until 12 noon beginning in the Sanctuary.

AA is at 12 noon in the Guild Room.

Yoga is at 6:30 p.m. in the Parish Hall.
